[JAVA] How to Edit & Translate the CN HELP.PB file of UC Browser in PC

This tutorial for the translator who were translating the CN version to English version with different servers. Many of us got problem about translating this file

The help file was found as help.pb file in the .jar file. 

Process:

1) Copy the help.pb file to any folder or desktop


2) Open Google Translate

3) Click on  translate a document link

 

4) Choose the file path, and then click on Translate

 

5) Translation page looks like this.

 

6) Now open the file with NOTEPAD

 

7) Edit the CN language portion with the translated English language. Edit strings by strings only. Don't edit another character, otherwise the file will be make corrupt.

I am just highlighting few points, you have to replace the all CN strings to English

 

8) After changing the all strings, click on File>Save As>help.pb
    
    * The file name should be help.pb
    * Choose save as type as ALL FILES instead of txt files
    * Encoding should be ANSI

 

9) You are done. Then copy the file and REPLACE with the help.pb file of UC Browser
