This is a live wallpaper that displays the album art of the currently playing track as a wallpaper. It gets the album art off the phone, so relies on the art being available. Upon starting a default image is displayed until the album art changes. This application contains no advertising, and the code is released under the GPL on SourceForge. So far this only works for devices running either the default Android or HTC music players.
